I spent the last 2-4 years working on a project with my band - and really, working on myself. My biological father passed away sending me into a very dark space and the beginning of my metamorphous. In that space is where I wrote this song, "Surreal". "Surreal" is where the journey of this project began. We worked on this project somewhat in silence with @fudakochi yet right before your eyes. It was a process that is now done. Over the next few months, you shall see our work and may the noise of work get louder and louder by the day. So for those of you talking bout, "do she still sing?", do you still breathe air?
I hope this answers your question and your concern for my life. Art is a creative process and artists should be allowed to be human and move through phases without their existence being questioned because instead of following the fad of pushing out songs every second, some of us want to do otherwise and spend our life creating masterpieces that may take time to create. Quality over quantity. Quality art takes time because it is human(s) experiencing life, and since I write all of my music, you get it when its ready.
I want you to join me on this journey. Like for real, for real. Tuned and tapped in. No cookie cutter BS. Real genuine support, love and appreciation for the art and the human that created it. Appreciating art as art was meant to be cherished. Appreciating the artistry of my work and the many other artist who color the world even while going through and through, all to make your world - OUR WORLD - a better place and experience for you/for each of us. That is my wish. Those of you who continue to follow and support the artists that you love, in and through all of their changes and glory, appreciating that they are human like you, well... you're the real MVP.
