“Summer Solstice: A Guide to Retreat.”

Today, I am giving myself grace, although I know that a lot of times when I wake up, I’m getting on my phone first thing instead of tending to myself. I check emails, I write messages, I do, I do, and I do.

My daily practices of yoga have gone down the drain—although they are still with me. I look at my body and I can see—though not very noticeable, maybe, to others who may still find me rather lean—the gain.

However, I've been eating better. More at home. Cleaner. I have been taking care to be mindful of my actions and behaviors while having much, much grace for myself.

In the past few days, I have thought a lot about a recent decision and mistakes that I’ve made—ones that somehow tend to ruminate in my thoughts and in my mind.

Yet, I digress.
Yet, I breathe.
I find time to devote to myself. Time to reset.

Even in the midst of the thought, “Now how again could I have let this happen?” I find myself resetting. I find myself accepting. Accepting in a way that this is now.

However, I embrace the change that is required for a much better, healthier me.

Changes like serial self-care and devotion to my yoga and breathwork practices. A greater devotion to pure and true alignment that feels good, that allows me to thrive—and all around, simply, surely shows up for me. Gives me the container necessary—and that I require—to grow, to live, to feel, to express, to do all of the things.

This is me now.

Inspired, even in this writing and in my own words, by the authenticity that is me and that is now being expressed.

Tonight, I will be participating in a sonic neural breath work experience with a breath work specialist whom I am very honored to work with in this manner. I have been—almost on a weekly basis since about a month ago—attending her sound bath healings.

I have been very intentional, even if not in my own space, in seeking out spaces that cultivate what I am cultivating within—spaces that feel safe, brave, and more intentional, and definitely in much greater alignment with who I am.

I can no longer be who someone else wants me to be, or do what someone else wants me to do. I am sickened by the very existence of being someone else.

I can no longer pretend. I can no longer force alignment in spaces not meant for me.
And spaces can also mean relationships—relationships of all forms.

Today, what I can do is show up for myself more—more intentionally.

And what that looks like is literally doing the work and attending events like I am attending tonight, to do the inner work that is required and necessary for my growth and evolution.

I am interested in doing the work that is necessary for my attunement—for my alignment.

To live a life that feels like the one I am called to live.

Some may like resistance; however, I prefer ease. Harmony.
More attunement with my natural state and flow.

A lot of what I have experienced in the past is me forcing myself into spaces that I do not belong.

Today, I am listening.
Tuning in so much more to myself.

That leads me to say that after today, I will be taking much more intentional pauses and disconnection in order to hear much more clearly what it is that I am saying—my true calling from God the Source, versus from that of the world.
And that includes my parents, friends, networks, etc. etc. etc.

With that being said, in this moment, I write this being inspired to create a Summer Solstice guide to retreat, which I am entitling:

“Summer Solstice: A Guide to Retreat.”

This simple and practical read is an ebook for the price of $3, which can be downloaded online via my link in bio or at iamrimidi.com.

It will be available today—and available now.

Available to serve the many it is seeking, and that seeks it.

A guide to retreat boldly and in reflection back to oneself.
A reset. An attunement, much like a guitar or instrument being tuned to its natural note.

An attunement to—and back to—Source.

For some, this is a simple alignment.
For others, it will take a little more time and tuning.

Regardless, it shall be done—with patience and with grace.

Selah.
